I have been Creative Director of Kee Photographics for nearly a quarter of a century. I am a qualified member of the Royal Photographic Society and the Master Photographers Association of the UK. I have had the pleasure of photographing some of the most eminent people of our time: Royalty, including the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Prince Andrew; four Prime Ministers – James Callaghan, Edward Heath, John Major and Tony Blair – and the Arsenal and Manchester United football teams. My work is particularly well known in the Asian community: famous people I have photographed include Sir GK Noon, TV Dragon James Caan, the Suterwala family (TRS), His Highness the Aga Khan. But much of my favourite work has been away from the glare of celebrity, at weddings, in my portrait studio, at corporate events…
What’s special about my work? My immediate answer is to let the photographs speak for themselves – please have a look at my portfolio. If pressed for an answer in words, I’d say it was my determination to do a good and original work every time I pick up my camera. Every subject is different, and I feel driven to find that difference and to express it in the best way I can. I’ve been doing this for 25 years, and still find the challenge exciting and fresh.
